1️⃣ Access to the Vault Setup Interface:
- Open the Hats.Finance platform and navigate to the Vault Setup section.
- Confirm that the interface indicates the vault is currently in an editable state by anyone until deployment.
- Save Progress:
- Before proceeding, click the "Save" button to ensure the session is saved from the start.
- Verify that the session has been saved correctly by checking for a prompt or notification confirming successful saving.
- After saving and moving to the next page, the Hats growth team can use this draft to begin promoting the competition. This will also allow auditors to start opting in to participate in the event.
2️⃣ Enter General Information:
- Name of the Vault: Enter the name of the vault. This should reflect the competition's name, whether it's an audit competition or a bug bounty.
- Type of Competition: Choose between "Audit Competition" or "Bug Bounty" based on the nature of the event.
- Website: Input the project's official website URL.
- Vault Logo: Upload the project logo in SVG format. This logo will represent the vault on the Hats.Finance platform.
- One-Liner: Provide a concise description of the project. This should give a brief overview of what the project is about.
3️⃣ Set Communication Channel
- Add Your Email:
- Input your email address to receive encrypted reports.
- Verify the email using the notification sent to you by the platform.
- Additional Committee Emails:
- Add any additional emails for other committee members who should receive the reports.
- Make sure all committee members verify their emails to ensure they receive notifications.
- Important: For audit competitions, all submissions are saved in both the dApp and GitHub for future reference.
4️⃣ Configure the Vault's Assets
- Choose Blockchain Network:
- Select which blockchain network to host the competition. We recommend choosing Arbitrum for lower deployment fees.
- Assets Token Address:
- Add the token contract address on the selected blockchain.
- If using a stablecoin for the competition, confirm with the Hats growth team that there is enough liquidity and swap options for the token before proceeding.
5️⃣ Define Rewards
- Intended Competition Rewards Amount:
- Input the reward amount that has been confirmed with the Growth team or the Hats system.
- Deduct 20% of the total reward for transparency, as this will be the maximum reward allocated for successful reports (SR). The remaining amount will be allocated to the pool for pay-for-results only competition.
- Note: Hats' fees are 20% out of rewards only, and any unused funds can be reclaimed after payouts.
